Contributions should be made in the form of a short paper of 1 page and should be submitted through the electronic contribution system (EasyChair) of the Symposium from the 15th of August 2021.
Short paper submission will be closed on the 15th of September 2021.
Necessary information to be submitted through EasyChair
- Title of the short paper
- Authors, affiliation, address, country, email address
- Topics: select relevant topics, or add new topics. They will be used for reviewing and to assign your presentation to a session.
- Type of presentation: (a) oral or (b) poster, demo or video
- Short paper: use the Word template, but please note that the submission must be a PDF file. Length of short paper: 1 page only.
After you have received the acceptance notification, prepare your slides for presentation. The presentation time will be 8 minutes + 4 minutes for questions.
Your presentation will be evaluated by the chairpersons. For each session, a session prize will be awarded based on the paper review scores and the scores given by the chairpersons. Because your paper may get the session prize, do not forget to participate in the Closing ceremony of the symposium on the 9th of Nov. from 18:00.
Enter the room session 10 minutes before the official time. Change you Zoom ID to your session number and paper number in the session with your name, e.g., [C1-3] WANG Feifei. Introduce yourself to the chairperson (name and paper number in the session, e.g. C1-3).
Please come to the room 10 minutes before the official time. If you cannot come physically, then enter the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the official time.
With the help of the session managers, check that all presenters in the session are present before the start of the session.
The session is limited to 90 minutes. There are normally 7 presentations in each session. Each presentation should be limited to 8 minutes. Questions/answers should be limited to 4 minutes.
At the beginning of the session, introduce yourself.

During each presentation and during the questions, please fill in the evaluation sheet for the current presentation. Hand out the evaluation sheets to the session manager at the end of the session (or send them by email).
