Contributions should be made in the form of a short paper of less than 4 pages, plus one additional page for references. The contributions should be submitted through the electronic contribution system (EasyChair) of the Symposium from the 1st of August 2022.
The papers presented at the symposium will be distributed to the participants under an electronic form. Authors whose papers cannot be published for some reason (patent application, etc.) should notice the programme committe when submitting by clicking the relevant item under EasyChair.
Paper submission will be closed on the 20th of September 2022 for the thematic session and general sessions, and on the 30th of September 2022 for colleges of technology (高専).
Necessary information to be submitted through EasyChair
- Title of the short paper
- Authors, affiliation, address, country, email address
- Sessions: select your session:
college of technology (高専) session,
standard session,
thematic session "Next-generation semiconductors and integrated circuits and their design technologies".
- Topics: select relevant topics.
- Short paper: use the Word template, but please note that the submission must be a PDF file. Length of short paper: less than 4 pages + 1 page for references.
After you have received the acceptance notification, prepare your slides for presentation. The presentation time will be 10 minutes + 12 minutes for questions.
For on-site presenters, please come in advance to the room indicated on the programme with your presentation on a USB key. Introduce yourself to the chairperson (name and paper number in the session, e.g. C1-3).
For online presenters, enter the Zoom room 10 minutes before the official time. Change your Zoom ID to your session number and paper number in the session with your name, e.g., [C1-3] WANG Feifei. Introduce yourself to the chairperson (name and paper number in the session, e.g. C1-3).
Your presentation will be evaluated by the chairpersons. For each session, a session prize will be awarded based on the paper feedback scores and the scores given by the chairpersons. Because your paper may get the session prize, do not forget to participate in the Closing ceremony of the symposium on the 11th of Nov. from 17:00.
After you have received the acceptance notification, prepare your poster (B1 size) and print it out.
- Boards (B1 size: 728 mm (width) x 1030 mm (height)) will be available in the poster session room.
- Basically style for poster is free.
- However the title of the paper, the authors and their affiliations should be clearly displayed at the top of the poster.
For on-site poster presenters, bring your poster with you. Come to the poster session 15 minutes in advance. Glue your poster on the board assigned to you (see session number and poster number). Stand in front of your poster and be ready to explain it to all visitors.

We will glue your poster for you in the session room. You are requested to explain your poster during the duration of the poster session through connecting to PCs placed under your poster. The Zoom link will be indicated on the programme. Enter the Zoom room session 10 minutes before the official time. Change your Zoom ID to your session number and poster number, with your name, e.g., [C1-3] KOUSEN Tarou.
For all poster presenters, your presentation will be evaluated by the chairpersons. For each session, a session prize will be awarded based on the paper feedback scores and the scores given by the chairpersons. Use: Name (Affiliation, Country) when joining a Zoom webinar / meeting. E.g., Tarou Waseda (Waseda, Japan). Turn off your microphone.
During oral sessions, you can use the chat to ask questions, or ask them orally. For that,
Come to the room at least 10 minutes before session starts. With the help of the operators, check that all presenters in the session are present (on-line and on-site) before the start of the session. Introduce yourself at the beginning of the session.
Each session is limited to 90 minutes. There are normally 4 presentations in each oral session. Each presentation should be limited to 10 minutes, plus 12 minutes for questions and answers. Please keep the time. After each presentation, ask questions, or take questions from the onsite and online audience (the operator will help you).
For poster presentations, there are 6 presentations. ask for a 5 minutes explanation and spend 5 minutes of discussion.
For each presentation, please fill in the evaluation sheet for that presentation. You can adjust you scores according to the answers to the questions. Hand out the evaluation sheets to the operator at the end of the session.
Please be reminded that all attendees,
including non-presenters,
are requested to register for the symposium.
