Chittawadigi (IIT Delhi / Amrita School of Eng., Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru) Abstract : RoboAnalyzer(R) (http://www.roboanalyzer.com/) is a 3D model based software that can be used to teach and learn the Robotics concepts. This tutorial explains and demonstrates 1) Overview and DH Parameters Visualization, 2) Visualization of Homogeneous Transformation Matrices 3) Forward Kinematics/Dynamics in RoboAnalyzer, 4) Inverse Kinematics/Dynamics in RoboAnalyzer, and 5) Virtual Robot Module in RoboAnalyzer.Handouts : http://www.roboanalyzer.com/blog/workshop-isips2018 Workshop2: (Room N104) Title: "On some Electro-Mechanical Aspects of Neuron Model" Dr. Bishakh Bhattacharya (Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur) Overview : Modelling of Neural Information Communication System is greatly significant today both in designing Artificial Intelligent System as well as for profound understanding of Biological systems. In this proposed address, I would like to review the classical Hodgkin and Huxley (H-H) model of the Impulse flow in Neuron. Some of the inconsistencies related to this model will be pointed out and then a new 'Soliton' based model will be introduced. Even though, the Soliton based model could resolve some of the anomalies of the H-H model, there are certain limitations in the Soliton Model too. The proposal of a new Piezoelectric Model by integrating the two concepts (H-H and Soliton) will be further discussed and some of our results in this direction will be presented. |
